Just for a change of pace I thought I’d share some of my beauty techniques with you all. Now I’ll be the first to put my hands up and say thank god for moisturiser and all the ranges of beauty products now designed for men. I think they’re awesome and they certainly have made me look and feel great over recent years.
So let’s go through the details. I like a good face wash or scrub having really clean skin is a great feeling and the beads within most skin cleansers can do a lot of good. My personal choice at the moment is Nivea for men exfoliating Face scrub. it does what I need it to do and my face feels and looks better use.

Now the next part of my cleansing routine is a shave. I’ve tried to do the facial hair thing in the past and will occasionally rock a goatie or some “designer stubble”. However in most cases the classic clean-shaven look is a solid choice and my GF loves it too. Right mow I’m getting my hands on the Gillette Fusion Proglide styler. This great tool enables me to tidy up whatever I may have e.g sideburns, ‘tasch and or goatie. It also has the great Gillette 5 blade system which at time can be a bit over kill it still is the best on the market!

Now my skin is somewhat sensitive so a good balm and or moisturiser is a must for my collection. For this are I turn to L’Oreal and their Men Expert Hydra Energetic Daily moisturiser. It makes me skin relax after shaving and means the application of after shave isn’t a deathly experience of hell fire and brimstone.

Now we get to my hair which in itself is a mighty adventure. I’m stilling coming to terms with the aspect of liking my hair. As a child and teen I suffered with ginger hair. Not something that was very pleasant but it made me a better and stronger individual throughout. throughout this time i would cut my hair very short. So it’s only in recent years that my hair has become longer and with it a style has been born.

I usually have my hair short on the sides and length on top going down the back so that I can do something with and make my look somewhat interesting. I have and still do like the wet look (I’m not going the full Bieber or One Direction look because well I just can’t). For this particular style I use Shockwaves Ultra strong power hold Gel. It means my hair will stay the way I want throughout the day no matter how many time I run my hands through – a bad habit I’ve copied from people with better hair than myself.

Ok the last piece is smell - Yes the Eau De toilette. I have two that are a particular favourite both from Diesel. Fuel for life which is a strong scent that I always picture Indiana Jones wearing ( I don’t know why?). I also wear Only The Brave I’m currently using the Tattoo edition which is sweet but not too overpowering!

This is just a short collection of what I use – This differs throughout the year depending on my mood and or what I have available to me! I hope you found it informative and most importantly…Guys dont be embarrassed getting any of this stuff its key to looking and feeling better about yourself.
Thanks for reading
D.
